Ben's Bonanza!

On the 16th July 2022 we held our very first event from our new charity shop Ben’s Bazaar. The sun was shining down on the Moor while our wonderful staff and volunteers headed out to collect donations, talk to the public about Ben’s Centre and Ben’s Bazaar and sell tickets for our games that were going on.

We had an official ribbon cutting for the shop with our very own Ben (Ian) Sherman doing the honours! A big thank you to Ben and Jayne for popping down and their continued support of everything we do both in the centre and down at the shop.

We raised a great amount of money from bucket collections, raffle tickets and a tombola which made the day extra special. The money will be reinvested between the centre and the shop to help better the service we give to those that shop with us or those that visit us for services. A big thank you to all the staff, volunteers and of course members of the public who visited us on the day. You may have spotted our mascot, the orange furry monster, that many of our staff absolutely sweated inside dancing around on the hot day.
